Their pocket hole jig can only make correctly centered holes at the proper angle in one thickness of stock. Those holes are fine, but if you use any other size of wood, the holes have too much angle or will be close to one edge.

3/4". The holes won't be centered on the 1/2" or 1" and will have a bad pull angle on the 1-1/4" and 1-1/2". The Kregs are adjustable to have the correctly angled hole centered in all of those sizes.

$2 for 50 feet of paracord is a good deal. Can never have too much cordage!
True.. but quality of the cord is important too. Tough-Grid 750lb cord seems good.

The HF anvils are horrible. You are better off using a rock or maybe your kitchen counter. I got one from a yard sale for almost nothing and immediately noticed why - it's super soft cast iron. Try and use it like an anvil... you'll end up with a dent in it shaped like the material you are trying to work. Glad I only spent a couple bucks.
Unfortunately this is 100% accurate. Bought the 55lb on a sale, gave it a light hit with a large ballpeen; instant dent. I kept it, and covered it with a sheet of A36 mild steel; not that THAT is even a hardened surface, but that anvil is SUPER soft.
Had to go to cutting railroad track and nesting it together with welds to come up with a better redneck anvil. Not yet ready to pony up for a real one; ever since Forged In Fire aired, they go for $800-$1000 used at auction around here.

The red Doyle anvils are actually decent. Look up a few reviews.

I only see vises by Doyle on Harbor Freight; did they previously sell actual anvils by Doyle?
A vise with an anvil section isn't an "anvil"

Agreed and this isn't high quality at all. I found out after I got it home it isn't multi strand core and only rated for 160lbs. I'll still find a use but not what I was hoping for,

Going to Harbor Freight is like going grocery shopping when your hungry. Go in to replace that one tiny socket you lost...BAM! full cart.

the 30% off / 40% off ITC is for purple tags - clearance in store only
does not apply to green tag "giant liquidation".

What are you even talking about? They have "liquidation" sales multiple times a year. They aren't going out of business they are just clearancing some items
Normally, a liquidation sale [wikipedia.org] is used to get rid of inventory prior going out out of business.
