I've been an owner of RaceDeck floors for 10 years now.

There is not much I can say I like about these floor besides it was pretty when I installed it, but have a whole plethora of dislikes.

1. Underneath the tiles are hollow and spiders LOVE IT. I was having a big spider issue in my garage that I couldn't solve and this is why. So many nests under the tiles.

2. You can't put any focused weight for any extended period of time. Like castors, or a jack stand. It will deform the floor permanently.

3. It stains from rust and is amazingly hard to clean out the stains. It's amazingly hard to clean up dust too. I cut some wood and it took hands and knees scrubbing to get all of the dust up from this floor.

4. As tight as each connection is, if you spill oil or something, some of it is going to sit in the crack and make its way to the floor underneath.

5. Expansion and contraction is a pain. during the summer the floor buckles, a lot. Yes, I have plenty of room for expansion and contraction, but do you know what else I have? Stuff sitting on it, because you know... It's a floor. All my heavy racks are on the concrete too with room for expansion but you can't keep everything off of it.

6. It's noisy. Clack clack clack as I walk around my garage. Super annoying.

7. There is no direct sunlight but the color has definitely faded over the years.

8. I got into welding, and you can't weld on these, or do anything hot above them, so just add this to the list now of why I regret spending thousands on these and not the newish epoxy resin.
Here is a pic of what the GarageFlow tiles look like installed.
300-400 sq. ft. for a 1-2 car garage.

How do you clean under them once installed?

What is green light?

There are several styles on clearance. The lowest price is I think the $1.99 per tile (1 sq foot), which is I forget the name.

Same question, as if I would need to refinish in order to use, it seems epoxy or another coating might be way to go.

Garage is 740 sqft I have been considering these.

Any guesses on how much overage for cuts etc without going too high? 5%? 10%?
Normal recommendation for flooring is 10% extra but whenever I do that I always have a load extra.

They aren't going out of business so if you needed to order a few extra at full price it wouldn't be terrible.

Would these be suitable for a home gym in a basement? Not looking to drop any sizable weight on it, but rather have a bench and a treadmill. This may be cheaper than the 4x6 mats.

Sure. It'll sit right over the cracks.

I really wish there were more pictures of this GarageFlow version compared to the other ones they sell. I can't find anything online, I'd love to see more shots or an install video of this one.

How does the draining work? Is it just referring to the holes on top which allows water through? Then would water just collect there and cause mold issues? Without these I can use fan or sponge up the water. I'm interested in the product but would appreciate if someone can let me know. Thanks

Yes it's just a plastic til with holes, that's it. Water will sit under it and evaporate eventually.

This doesn't look like this specific pattern that is for sale?? can you clarify?
So the pics show different styles of tiles. The link I listed was specifically for the GarageFlow tiles.

They should be fine. They might be a little clacky when you walk around. You could use an inexpensive foam underlayment used for laminate flooring.

They hold up to very heavy weights that are stationary. I have a full 60" Cornwell tool box as well as a full 56" Matco box and there is no indents where they have been sitting. Easily moved around.

As for cracks, as long as the floor is still flat, just go over the top. No problem.

As for draining, any water will just evaporate or drain out the door depending on the slope of the garage floor.

I don't do any wet stuff nor park in the shop after rain/snow (it is a place to work on cars/trucks during the winter) so I had my floor poured flat.
