Samsung EPP just had this for 999.99 with free bezel and extra 2 year warranty, just 2 days ago. Its over now, just hard to pay this much more 2 days later. I will hold out, wife really wants this though.

I missed the EPP deal. Didn't see it alert on Slickdeals. Also I didn't think I could get the EPP deal because I'm not an employee. This deal you have to have a Costco membership but I imagine more people have that.

Ya my wife sent me an article about the Amazon deal going on. I think they have a lot of inventory to go through still. But my wife never sends me electronics sales articles lol.

In the other thread people were talking about a workaround to get the epp price is to go through the AAA website. So for around $50 you could get to the pricing of epp. Or borrow a login from someone with a AAA membership.

This deal is live again. Really want this TV, but still hesitant after seeing previous Slickdeals. The Costco deal add-ons are valued at $260. Can't find the AAA this round.

If you are patient the 55" has been as low as $799 through EPP.

It's more of a situation based tv rather than general tv. It's ideal if you like art or want a tv that kinda hides in a room (office, bedroom, etc). Raw performance or bang for your buck, you may be better with something else.
