1. I use pattern to unlock. There are times when the tablet doesn't register my finger trying to finish the pattern half way. This happens once a week.
2. I don't know if this is app related, the tablet doesn't recognize the lowest brightness when using my Smarters app in dark lit rooms. This doesn't happen on my Pixel 7.
3. When I am using Dual Apps, there are times, when one of the apps will close when I rotate my tablet inadvertently.

I can't think of anything else for now, but I will say that I use my tablet mostly for videos when I travel. Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, Youtube, Smarters... Etc.

the 64gb model is 199, it has a microSD slot so you can save some money that way

EDIT: it also only has 4GB of RAM.... so not a great deal

I bought this in October 2021 for $207 excluding a rebate site where I got a few bucks more off it. I love it and recently upgraded to Android 12. There are some quirks, but still great. I'm surprised that the price is still around the amount I last bought it for.

Which is a better deal, this or the M10 plus? Mainly used for watching videos during exercise.

My friend has this exact model. It was a nice pad, but now it's a paperweight.

1st incident - running in boot loop
I ended up download the Lenovo rescue software to replace the tab OS.
2nd incident - battery drain and not able to boot up and charge.
I have tried many ways to wake it up including using rescue software. No luck. Sitting on my desk stone cold.
If this was a common thing I am sure we would have lots of threads outlining these issues. I have had this tablet since November 2021, never had any of the issues you described. There are some UI quirks and the tablet will not receive updates past the Android 12 release. Order than that not really much to complain about at this price point. Screen, sound, touch response, performance all of those are good if not great considering the price and the mid range hardware.

The p11 plus is a better performer. M10 plus 3rd gen might get some future updates as it was recently released. I guess if the price was better on the m10 plus 3rd gen, then it would be a better buy considering the price. I snagged one for $130 for the kids, that was a good deal.

I think you may have mixed it up with some other model. This tablet is not slow - very decent mid range tablet and afaik did not have a 3GB model.
Last year they did, it was around $180 for Black Friday 2021

This is a common problem on the Lenovo forum. The first Android 12 update completely bricked my p11. Since I bought it refurbished it took me months to get them to fix it. The Lenovo rescue tool was no help.

That is when I bought mine. And I still think you confused it with a different model. There is no reference of the p11 plus having 3gb of ram. Gsmarena also lists only the 4gb variants...

Perhaps I had a Pro, or some other variation... Lenovo had several versions of the P11

i love my p11+ from last black friday. i use it for mostly online streaming, some uno, web browsing. screen is awesome. i don't use the lock pattern since it's always home so i can't speak to that issue. recently downloaded rosetta and that's worked well too. charges 100% every few days right as rain the last 60 or so weeks. recommend if that's what you need.

This tablet is a powerhouse. 6gb ram will last a few years into the future and will keep the tablet snappy when switching apps. Screen is incredible and the updates keep coming m

I have the previous generation P11 Plus and I probably would only recommend it to people who aren't very "techy". As a device to watch videos it is great. Love that it has stereo speakers and a really nice screen. Good battery life too. But Lenovo is REALLY bad with updates and when Android 12 finally got released they had to pull it because it was bricking people's devices. Then another several months of waiting and they finally released it, but it's still somewhat buggy. I'm pretty sure they won't go back to fix it since I experienced a similar thing on a OnePlus 6T phone. These companies just do the bare minimum then poop out a new device the next year and forget the previous one.

Can anyone comment on how this Lenovo Tab P11 Plus compares to similarly-priced tablets, like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, Tab A8, or Tab S6 Lite? Or other similar tablets?

I'm trying to get a decent tablet for my mother (who is in her 60s), that she could use for watching YouTube and video podcasts, listening to Spotify, checking Facebook and browsing the Internet, that is in the $100-$250 range. I'm also willing to buy a used device (from Mercari, eBay or Swappa), if I can get a good deal/price on something.

Also, in case it matters, my mom currently has a Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) Android phone. So, I was wondering, would it offer any sort of benefits, or potentially helpful features, for her to have a Lenovo tablet to use along with her Moto G Stylus 5G phone?

If anyone would like to reply and share some feedback with me, I would sincerely appreciate it.

I have the M10 which is stellar although sadly no stylus/pen support. Had I known, would have held out for this as it looks to be a slight upgrade.
