1. I use pattern to unlock. There are times when the tablet doesn't register my finger trying to finish the pattern half way. This happens once a week.
2. I don't know if this is app related, the tablet doesn't recognize the lowest brightness when using my Smarters app in dark lit rooms. This doesn't happen on my Pixel 7.
3. When I am using Dual Apps, there are times, when one of the apps will close when I rotate my tablet inadvertently.

I can't think of anything else for now, but I will say that I use my tablet mostly for videos when I travel. Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, Youtube, Smarters... Etc.

the 64gb model is 199, it has a microSD slot so you can save some money that way

EDIT: it also only has 4GB of RAM.... so not a great deal

I bought this in October 2021 for $207 excluding a rebate site where I got a few bucks more off it. I love it and recently upgraded to Android 12. There are some quirks, but still great. I'm surprised that the price is still around the amount I last bought it for.

I've been waiting on this tablet (6gb) but not sure if I should just wait for the new Google tablet or the spring tablets (maybe with Android 12L)

I was planning on using it with Zwift (indoor biking) and need all the power I can throw at it.

Can anyone comment on how this Lenovo Tab P11 Plus compares to similarly-priced tablets, like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, Tab A8, or Tab S6 Lite? Or other similar tablets?

I'm trying to get a decent tablet for my mother (who is in her 60s), that she could use for watching YouTube and video podcasts, listening to Spotify, checking Facebook and browsing the Internet, that is in the $100-$250 range. I'm also willing to buy a used device (from Mercari, eBay or Swappa), if I can get a good deal/price on something.

Also, in case it matters, my mom currently has a Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) Android phone. So, I was wondering, would it offer any sort of benefits, or potentially helpful features, for her to have a Lenovo tablet to use along with her Moto G Stylus 5G phone?

If anyone would like to reply and share some feedback with me, I would sincerely appreciate it.
I think at least on paper this beats all the budget tablets Samsung has. The A series and also S6 Lite might be fine for people not used to having a recent flagship phone or have simply lower expectations for a tablet (like for kids). Otherwise youd be looking at the regular Tab S7 or S8 series, which are obviously a lot pricier. The ram alone on this should make a big difference compared to other similarly priced tablets.

Does anyone know if this supports HDMI out? I'd like to use it for my exercise bike, but have a projector set up and want to output from the tablet (using the Jrny app) to the projector. Jrny doesn't support Chromecast, so I can't do that. Screen mirroring also ends up leading to some annoying lag and poor quality, so it isn't ideal.

If this one doesn't support that feature, does anyone have any recommendations on a relatively affordable tablet (not more than $250) that might work?

Lenovo forums state others have had no success, the USB-C port doesn't appear to support an HDMI adapter. Apparently Chromecast or another wireless solution are the only options.

I believe the Tab S7 FE supported HDMI, but not the A7, so you may need to look at premium models.

Thanks for that! I'm starting to think my only options might be to get a premium tablet, as you mention, or buy an old, refurbished phone for cheap that supports the feature and just use it solely for the purpose of outputting the jrny app. Frown

Agree if you're buying new. Tab s6 is markedly superior in audio, display, user experience, etc... and can be had refurbished in good condition around $250 on ebay. Sure, no more software support but it got the most recent taskbar update (Samsung tablet software destroys Lenovo--p12 pro from Lenovo has its own taskbar implementation but it's no where near as good or fluid and that's on their top model). The snapdragon in it is older but was flagship for the time and still better than mid rangers now. For a little more than either of those ($300), you can regularly get the p11 pro from Lenovo which is just a straight (and large) upgrade in processor, screen and audio over the plus but still no where as good performance or software as something like the tab s7/8. Just glitchier and less polished overall

Anyone have luck checking out? Keeps telling me; "We are unable to process your payment(payment auth is failed)." tried several methods (cards, Paypal, etc) ...same result.

Edit: finally got it to work with Amazon Payments, of all things. Bizarre.

I own this. Blows 99% of any other tablet out of the water. The screen is insane. Perfect for watching movies and amazing speakers.

is does have Widevine full support

only the YOGA TAB 13 PRO could be used as a secondary monitor, has been discontinued for months now.
That was a great tablet, too bad Lenovo priced it too high or didn't make it appropriately feature packed for the price (however you want to look at it)

I'm happy with this table, I'm not a power user.

My only gripe is the face recognition, it sucks. Had to turn it off because it kept turning on.
