1. I use pattern to unlock. There are times when the tablet doesn't register my finger trying to finish the pattern half way. This happens once a week.
2. I don't know if this is app related, the tablet doesn't recognize the lowest brightness when using my Smarters app in dark lit rooms. This doesn't happen on my Pixel 7.
3. When I am using Dual Apps, there are times, when one of the apps will close when I rotate my tablet inadvertently.

I can't think of anything else for now, but I will say that I use my tablet mostly for videos when I travel. Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, Youtube, Smarters... Etc.

the 64gb model is 199, it has a microSD slot so you can save some money that way

EDIT: it also only has 4GB of RAM.... so not a great deal

I bought this in October 2021 for $207 excluding a rebate site where I got a few bucks more off it. I love it and recently upgraded to Android 12. There are some quirks, but still great. I'm surprised that the price is still around the amount I last bought it for.

I'd like to use it for my exercise bike, but have a projector set up and want to output from the tablet (using the Jrny app) to the projector. Jrny doesn't support Chromecast, so I can't do that. Screen mirroring also ends up leading to some annoying lag and poor quality, so it isn't ideal.
I just ordered this tablet for indoor cycling apps to my 10" projector. I am planning on using the screen cast that's part of the Android OS. I don't have any lag running the apps from my Pixel 6 Pro so I'm hoping that this tablet also won't have issues. I have not yet settled on which indoor cycling app I'll use but I'm leaning towards something with coach sessions.

This tablet is a powerhouse. 6gb ram will last a few years into the future and will keep the tablet snappy when switching apps. Screen is incredible and the updates keep coming m
I have the p11 that came with android10 updated to android 11, it has 4 gb ram. It is still going strong. I use it more often then my new ipad air, but I am more used to android.

the pro version, gen 2 can output video to an external screen via the usb-c port. oops, sorry, re-reading your post you want it to input video to the tablet via usb-c. haven't tried that yet with my pro gen 2

Just in case nobody has mentioned it, if you set up a My Lenovo Rewards account, go to your account > earn points > do the different activities and info input and you will earn another $7.50-$15 in Lenovo Rewards points. It will only take about 5-10 minutes to complete. You should be able to apply that credit to the purchase.

I give a wide margin of how much you will earn because I've made several purchases over the last 4 months or so and I'm not entirely sure if all of my rewards credit is from the "earn rewards" section I just learned about a week or two ago or if some of it was applied from my previous orders. Sorry for the lack of specificity but I'm posting this comment quickly just to help notify people

Yes it does, ETA Prime on Youtube covers this. Has Widevine 1, so HD content is playable.

Do you have a source to confirm this? The Lenovo site says it gets updates through November of 2024.

I think he meant major OS upgrade, e.g from Android 12 to Android 13. Security updates should go on for much longer as you had linked. Personally, while OS uprade is nice, it's probably a bit over-hyped imo.

One other thing that I just thought of: When I plug my earbuds into the USB C port, the sound doesn't seem to be loud enough when I'm flying compared to cheapy bluetooth earbuds. Now, I might be comparing Samsung wired earpbuds apples to cheapy bluetooth earbuds oranges. LOL.

I posted earlier about Lenovo Rewards but honestly, after making multiple decent purchases with them in the last 6 months, I have to say that they are one of the worst companies I've ever experienced when it comes to customer service. As in, absolutely horrible. I enjoy their products but if you have even a small issue, it can be a painful experience to reach out and deal with them via phone, chat, or social media. I had to try them all and they were so bad that I've given up and just won't do business with them anymore.
Just random reference examples off the top of my head:
- customer service chat that barely communicated in English and took as much as 10 minutes between responses, refused to connect me with a supervisor, disconnected the chat with me after getting snarky with me
- a customer support agent that gave me a case reference number for a partial refund along with her email to reach out after my order was received... but my email was blocked from her email account so I couldn't even get in touch
- taking 6 weeks to receive my order despite it stating clearly (and customer service telling me directly) that it qualified for free two day expedited shipping. Delivery timelines fluctuated during the entire 6 weeks of waiting for the order. Every few days, the estimated delivery would get moved back a few more days. Customer service would rarely give me any new information on the status of the order and when they did provide relevant info, it was never accurate a few days later as the entire timeline would be totally different again.

At a certain point, it just isn't worth it anymore. Hopefully nobody else has to deal with any customer service related issues. I enjoy Lenovo products. I just don't like to feel like I'm rolling the dice when I give my hard earned money to a business in what should be a simple transaction.

Looks like it's now 199.99 on Lenovo's Ebay store for those that missed out.
