You cannot jump. The developers have huge areas that are sectioned off by knee-high walls. Think "breath of the wild" but you can't climb, glide, or traverse in any way but walking. Making people walk through and backtrack huge "open" areas by making arbitrary barriers might make your game take longer, but not in the right way.

Go read up any review on it (I know reviews are subjective) but they're all stellar.
Essentially it's a modern indie game with retro graphics (think like high quality 4k snes graphics, not the type of indie graphics that look bad for an atari game)
But it's pretty difficult, with some unique rpg elements and all around very good.
If you're not into the golden era of gaming or retro it might not be for you. But it's way better than this above game (which I've also played)
Go read up any review on it (I know reviews are subjective) but they're all stellar.
