Tmobile 90 day trial is better
Ryan Reynolds is trying to pull a fast one here! Offering only 30 days as a T-Mobile MVNO, when T-Mobile directly is offering 90 days free

Can you port out this number? Looking on reddit seems like they block the messages with account number and pin so it's a hassle to get them
You cannot port out a trial Mint number, no. If you purchase a plan and convert that number to a permanent number, then you'll be able to port it out and it becomes "yours".

They do have an interesting option - instead of signing up for a free month, you an sign up for 3 months for $30. Which is an intro of $15 per month for 3 moths with 1 month free. For those who are sure they want to stay with Mint and be on 4Gb plan, This is a better deal.

Mint, in general, is pretty good with assorted intro promos. My only real issue with them has been their junk fees and periodic international roaming issue that is usually taken care of by a chat with customer service.
They're offering 1 month free on any plan, even unlimited, so you can choose whichever you want, not just the 4GB one. Works out to $30 off the unlimited (which is really 35GB) plan.

worked like a charm... Tmo and UsMob did not work for me as I had their trial in the past.
eSim installation worked in under 5 mins. Used a virtual card to be on safe side.

Does the free trial(mint or T-mobile) have roaming (Canada) coverage?
I was wondering the same thing. The fine print on the T-Mobile 90 day offer says not for international use. Mint never seems to include roaming for any of their plans - data costs $0.06 per mb in Canada. Still in search of a good way to get data for weekend trips across the border..

I currently use mint in my phone but wanted to add an esim. It says it would add a 7 day free period, does not show anything about 39 days in the app. I guess it has to do that mint is already activated with the physical sim? Did anyone tried it out?

Will either new number from Mint or T-Mobile allow me to stop the free services and port that new number to Google Fi to get on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra deal?

The 30 day free trial is only available on the website not in the app.
it's also only for New customers.

To activate eSIM on iPhone:
1. Scan QR code from the provider and install the plan.
2. Customer support team can map the plan with eSIM IMEI and new plan will be installed on your iPhone.

I followed 1st option and line was activated within few minutes.

Edit- In Mint, eSIM activation is based on app.
oh.. tmo's 3month free offer is eSim only?

Don't do this. I've heard issues where you converted to esim and when the trail expires you can't go back to the physical to be used. Not sure if there is a bug or not. There is a reddit thread about this.

That phone may not give you the greatest idea of coverage. T-Mobile coverage is becoming more and more reliant on 5G technology in some areas. Just FYI.
True. That's why I switched to a Moto G Stylus 5G now and I'm on TMobile. The Pixel 2 XL is my old phone, but it'll be good to see how well it does with the trial.

Order NOW. They'll be swamped with orders after Ryan pitches (throws?) the offer to football fans this Sunday.
