Exploding Kittens goes on sale for 50% off quite often, so this is not a good deal, based off their past pricing.

Actually it was well worth it. Of all the games (we've bought many) of theirs, that one was the biggest hit at our Christmas get-together. It normally goes for $20 or so, so $8 was fantastic.

I recommend checking the games section of thrift stores. Sometimes games get played once and taken there. I've found lots of decent board games that way. If you're worried about germs, don't lick the cards.
