I also struggled with CGNAT at first, but simple workarounds exist
Free Google Remote Desktop into local server easily gets around it, then you have full access to server, Plex, and anything else I share on the LAN, such as IP camera's. Works perfect here. Running TMHI Arcadyan KVD21 with WIFI disabled, connected to Asus router in normal wireless router mode, firewall enabled, IPV6 passthrough, everything set as normal with 32 static IP addresses manually assigned. Same as I used with normal Internet providers, with only real change being T-Mobile modem.
Mistake. Instead of downloading the App to my 5 G phone, I downloaded to a 4G phone, XS Max. Tried to then download to my 5G, and received message. YOU LOOK FAMILIAR." Not eligible.
My ATT DSL is 30 mbps. Going up to $ 70 month for that speed.
My T Mobile speed, on the 4 G, is constant at around 150.
My ATT 5G service is also around 150.
Compare that to my DSL of 30.
Based on that, I just ordered the T internet for the trial.
Apparently, the $25 promo is over. I kept asking about it and the rep played dumb.
With the promo, over, I'll stick with ATT wireless. I'm grandfathered in for $ 95, three phones, 12 GB plan. That way, if T Mobile goes down, I can use my ATT phones for a hotspot.
I have the Sagemcom 5688W.
It's good for getting the signal from the T-Mobile antennas, but very lousy as a local access point. I run ethernet from the Sagemcom to my Deco mesh system to get reliable and fast WiFi in my home.

Signed up 1.5 years ago for $50 and they refused to give me the 25$ deal, and they refused the magenta max offer last time because they don't honor existing customers who are on magenta AND already have home internet.
Needless to say, both turned me off, and the reliability, I'm going back to cable, which at $50 is the same price.
In fact I'm dumping T-Mobile entirely after a second wireless account is in collections.. an account I never had, doesn't have activity, yet T-Mobile hasn't cleared it after 3 months of trying for hours and days.
I'm done with ALL post paid plans and their games. Unlocked, pre paid and cable only for Internet until someone else comes to the party. T-Mobile tried, but they were as arrogant as the other guys
Worst case I could always switch back to fiber and be considered a new customer.
