The positive reviews are largely from folks who bought their PCs recently and make sense from an end user standpoint. This computer will absolutely play games very well, especially if you're upgrading from and older/lesser system. What many of them don't realize is that their systems are being throttled by extremely poor thermal management (things get too hot so the CPU and GPU automatically scale back to reduce the heat output) and they're actually getting a system that doesn't perform as well as it should. Most end users probably won't even notice at first, but these things become more relevant as the machine ages and newer games push it's capabilities.
The proprietary parts are another issue and could be a topic in and of itself. The motherboards in these are the cheapest of the cheap and aren't standard so they won't fit anything else. Also, have you ever priced a replacement proprietary Dell power supply? Yikes.
Looks not great with previes gen i7...

I'm searching but am not finding a lenova with a 3070 in that price only with a 3060
I had my job purchase it for autocad, and the video card seems to give me a lot of trouble. Freezing, locking up etc. I do however feel like it was a good deal, just not as trouble free as I hoped for. I did add 32gb of ram and swapped the ssd for a 1tb.
Just giving those who are interested a heads up. Read the fine print of the specs so that you know what to expect. They seem to make everything vague so you're stuck with it after purchasing.
I'd go for a ATX sized motherboard bc more room between components but it's up to you.
For Ram go for 3600 mhz so ram and cpu can have 1:1 exchange.
If it were up to me I wouldn't rely on Teamgroup for SSD. At least go for Crucial's MX500 or Samsung drives.
Don't forget to undervolt the 6700xt if there's coil whine. Even if it doesn't it's better to undervolt a tiny bit.
Get a Gold PSU if you can. It's the last thing everyone will tell you to save money on. Plus a PSU is easiest thing to transfer over to the next rig. Spread out over time a $100 PSU is nothing is used gently over 7~8 years.
That's what I suggest. Happy gaming!
