Gamers Nexus did a review on this design and it is hot garbage, literally.
Proprietary hotbox. Please read reviews on this junk.
The original price is super inflated

Seems like solid specs for the price. Wish it was 32GB but I also wish I was a little bit taller
Do you wish you were a baller?

I'd say buy it. It's a good price. Seriously are you going to over clock it and and play hard core? If you are one of those then you would of built your own computer. Normal people can just enjoy it.

I've had an Aurora for years. Similar design. Water cooling.

People knock the design. Sure, it is cramped.
I've never had an issue with the thermals or fans after 3+ years. No issues at all honestly.

This PC (and a lot of Dell prebuilts) is cheaper than what you can build yourself.

Proprietary parts? Sure. I've never had any issues. In the end as long as there are no failures, it doesn't matter.

if you try to build on your own -

12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700F - about 270-289
intel z690 ddr5 motherboard - about 180 - 200
Windows 11 home - about 110
RTX 3060 Graphics Card - about 360 - 450
16GB memory RAM - about 120-140
M2 512GB - about 50
PSU 460W - about 80-100
CASE - cheapest is about 45
CPU cooler (aio) - about 50
you will get cool looking case, free keyboard, free mouse
total is about 1265 - 1435, current market price so i think it is pretty good value.
I didn't use dell product before so not sure about quality.
(i compared prices from amazon and newegg, not microcenter because not all people can go to microcenter)
hope this helps. Smilie

Ram is lock to lower speed you dont know that buddy. the video card is fine and ssd no problem. Ram used cutomized rams for full everything. You a tech nebie buddy.
When is the RAM speed ever going to be a real world difference? As in something that will be noticeably slower.

Never. That's when.

What about just taking the side panel off and running it that way?

Because that's what they are. GN realized these losers drool over the click bait and have taken full advantage. I'm not saying GN aren't knowledgeable or that these prebuilts are great, but the parrots love chirping in every post.
Either the "parrots" are right or they are wrong. If they're right, and still you're flapping your lips, that makes you the jackazz.

Depends on if you game, for example doesn't returnal claim 32 as a min requirement.

Why do they use that ugly case?
Probably no proprietary parts here.
Definitely proprietary mobo. Dell has never not used the extended pcb usbs afaik at least on alienware.

Can we just move the internals onto a new case like the Hyte Y60?
