After about a 6 months something went awry with controller, takes several power cycles to get the lights to work and have the system not beep, and even then the light randomly turns on and off instead of the scheduled cycle, and the power & schedule buttons no longer work.
I have on my todo list to disassemble and direct wire lights and pump to put on external timer if I can figure out how to bypass the right circuitry.
Update: on learning about the somewhat unexpected 1year warranty I contacted idoo and they sent a replacement light unit which corrected the problem.

Comes with a 1 year warranty. You can try to contact them, if you have not already contacted them. Hope this helps.

Just checked, the one made by MUFGA has no warranty info i.e. only get a 30 day warranty from Amazon...will definitely pass on that as well as this one (thinking of spending some more to get aerogarden or something else)
