Bought the gold SS last time, definitely best looking Apple Watch ever, if you're on the fence go for it. I used to doubt why SS commend such premium over aluminum, now I see why. This is a watch that aluminum is more of a toy 😂

Have you seen a space black titanium in person? I feel like that's on another level, and while not as fancy as the ss in terms of weight and shine, suits the active lifestyle better. It's like a sophisticated aluminum edition with the better material (and much better color). I wish the ss came in space black as the graphite doesn't do it for me.
Hermès edition has space black still

Yes, I currently own the space black titanium Edition, this silver SS model in the OP, and a Space Black Hermes series 8. I think you're right about the black titanium, it's the better suited model for fitness and an active lifestyle. It looks really great too, especially with the Sports Bands IMO. I really like it. The silver SS is very shiny and "dressy" to look at, and I enjoy looking at it a lot but find it just a little distracting TBH. It's pretty tho. The Hermes Space Black is really nice, and of course my favorite. It's understated and classy, and the band doesn't disappoint. Love the watch faces too. I know most here on SD would pass out before pulling the trigger on the Hermes, but I got it for less than 1/2 of MSRP and had to try it out. Anyways, I think they're all nice in the SS range and you can't go wrong with any of them.

Unfortunately there's no place I can find that's selling it new anymore. I had to buy a used one off fb marketplace. There's some on eBay too. Keep in mind since this is a 'series edition', it comes with a 2 year warranty so every watch available will still be under warranty and they sold for $800 new. Check pictures on reddit and macrumors. There's also a comparison video on youtube that shows all three models side by side. I think it was that video that sold me

I bought 4 different colored Genuine Apple sport bands on Ebay for only $15 each. I find them much more comfortable but I wanted the Milanese as well I'm case I need a dressier look.
Can you share the eBay seller? I'm having a hard time finding a sport band in white size S/M.

Local seller who'd changed his mind. He'd purchased it for a business partner but it didn't work out for them. He was just motivated to unload it. Business loss I suppose, but it was unopened and I could not pass it up.

I purchased mine in "excellent" condition off eBay. It looked completely unused and had three years of AppleCare+ that is good until June 2025! They didn't even disclose the AppleCare+ in the listing, and I picked it up for $340. With the AppleCare+ it was originally over $1,000 so I considered that a very slick deal. Lots of good deals for slightly used ones out there on eBay. I might have just lucked out but I'd say it's worth a try.

I just got an aluminium watch 6 40mm. Scratch free. 100% battery health for 120$. That's what I do. I wait two years and just buy like new condition electronic gadgets for 1/3 the original price. Now that's called a slickdealer. Remind me after 2 years to buy this watch 8 haha.

jumping in on this deal. my first apple watch was a S0 space black stainless and i loved the durability of it. with that said, i went from that watch to a S4 aluminum and it has held up well. my only decision here was stainless steel vs. graphite...went graphite.

my question is. i got the milanese loop with the S0 and would only wear it on nicer occasions. i found it uncomfortable and i'd have to constant adjust it. so for this purchase, i am thinking about getting the S7 with a sport band instead of the milanese loop. it's the same price, but the milanese loop is more "valuable". however, i see myself using the sport band more. i am also concerned about the scratching with the milanese loop. is it dumb to pass on the more premium band?

I got mine for $300 and it's in perfect condition. I think people that spend this much take care of their stuff. I said this is another thread but I don't think I'll buy new ever again.

I bought a series 2 AW and the battery was terrible vs the fitbit so always used FitBit until now as it tracks sleep, etc better. Looking at this deal I wanted to get the AW again. Does anyone know how the sleep tracking is and if the fast charge is helpful? Thanks

I had a SS 4 44mm for almost 3 years and the glass is just like day 1. I did not abuse it but never pay attention to avoid scratching.
I have the SS 4 44mm as well and have no scratches on the face despite slamming it in walls multiple times. The SS body has a couple fine scratches from those hits but only visible up close. I've worn it every day for three year.
