Too bad it's not the 14oz size, I would have jumped on the deal then, but 9oz seems so small. I don't want to be refilling that much.

True, but you get 2 9oz for 85 with tax at Costco (forever warranty) vs. 100 + tax bucks for one somewhere else. I would say this is by far a better deal.

Refill both of them at once and pretend that you have one 18 oz pump Smilie My pet peeve with this one is that I can't see how much soap left in the pump.

Yeah, I don't know why they got rid of the old style with the AA batteries and the clear tank. Ours have been working well for years

$100 for one soap dispenser? That's insane. Still using the Simplehuman AA battery powered ones at around $35/each bought a few years ago and they are still working great.

The cynical part of my brain says planned obsolescence because user-replaceable batteries don't drive future sales like integrated/non-replaceable batteries that degrade over time because it force customers to throw away and replace the whole thing when the battery no longer holds a long enough charge.

Yes, who wants to recharge a soap dispenser. Have one in bathroom that I changed the batteries a couple hours ago. It was back up and running in a couple minutes.

Man, I'd love these in AA. As rechargeable… I have an issue with one I got on Amazon. The Costco ones have a nicer finish and have worked flawlessly.

I bought this when one of my Simplehuman dispensers died a couple years ago, and I'll buy another if my other Simplehuman dispensers dies.

I actually like the rechargeable one more than the non rechargeable pump. I had three of the non-rechargeable pumps and have started to replace them with the rechargeable version as they wear out. I realized that I was using quite a bit of batteries (the non-rechargeable sensor pump takes 4 AA batteries). This rechargeable one is nice too because you can use the pump while it's charging. As one small data point, I bought both the rechargeable and non rechargeable pump at the same time - the non- rechargeable one just stopped working after a couple years. I tried various tips to try to reset it, but it just stopped pumping. The sensor would trigger a small noise, but the pump wouldn't run. I highly recommend this rechargeable pump.
