FYI: I own a LOT of ryobi tools that I love. This isn't one of them. I have owned two of these and both experience pretty bad blade drift. Could be terrible luck on my end but I'm not gonna roll the dice a third time
I have had the brushless version for a couple years and have been very happy with it. No drift and no issues to speak of. Been a great tool for me.

Bought one a week ago. Worked great to cut the sink hole out in the countertop.

Are the extra blades worth $9? (Serious question)

They also have the tool by itself for $45 here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../301916606

I had this and had problems with the blade wandering on me, even with a straight-edge/speed-square. I upgraded to a brushless Dewalt and have been pleased with it and haven't had that issue

Thanks for the heads up, going to skip it based off of what others say here. I wanted it for convenience, but will stick with my corded DeWalt

Same. I thought it was me but found others saying the same thing. Ditched it a while back when I upgraded to Dewalt tools and couldn't be happier.

I have a few Ryobi tools that are fantastic, but this wasn't one of them. Their corded version suffers the same issue from my experience.

I just got the brushless one about 2 weeks ago with the brushless nailer. Its the brushless ryobi jigsaw any better than the one in this deal? I havent tried it out yet. heres the link

Concur with the blade twist / drift issues. Not even close to being a precision saw. Other Ryobi tools I've owned have been great.
