Without doors/handles, so body only, it's 24-7/8"
The 31-5/8" depth poster above is referring to includes doors/handles.
When I looked a few years ago for a true counter-depth fridge (closer to the 24-25" that most countertops are), I had to look beyond the American and Korean brands (not talking about where manufactured). Not sure if that's still the case today. At the time, I went with a Bertazzoni, which was 26-3/8" depth (with door, without handles).
Otherwise, "counter depth" seems to somehow mean that the fridge body (*without* the doors) is about 25" in depth, so there is a visual alignment/continuity from fridge body to counters, but the doors/handles protrude several inches past that.
This is a $400 drop from what the price has been ($1899.99). In addition, the $300 off $2000 Costco promotion still applies.
Edit: the $300 off $2000 appears dead as of today 3/2

However, according to this article in 2023 LG has the highest favorable ratings and some of the lowest least favorable ratings of all major refrigerator brands: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutte...rig
We decided to go with the standard 27 cubic foot counter depth model for $1,750 (https://www.costco.com/lg-27-cu.-...3011.htmll). Though this model was the same price (or very similar) for this model at other big box stores (Best Buy, Home Depot) we decided to go with Costco because:
1. Haul away of the old refrigerator is included at no extra cost
2. You have 3 months to return without issue if a problem develops
3. Costco doubles the manufacturer's warranty
The price was further reduced as we purchased over President's Weekend it was considered a "tax free for Energy Star applicances" in our State (MD).
Regardless what you go with, aways remember the golden rule with refrigerators, don't get ones with ice makers on the door. All models have issues with this design and your begging for an issue to cause your refrigerator to fail if you purchase a model with ice makers in the door.
1. You have to use the warranty's repair vendor who are often times completely ignorant of your make and model you have and take forever to fix it. You're much better off going with a local more reliable repair service if/when repairs are needed. Local repair services will be much more motivated to fix it right the first time then a warranty service vendor.
2. Typically most extended warranties do not cover your spoiled food cost which adds up if your fridge is constantly breaking down due to crappy warranty service fixes.
3. Your much better off putting the money of the extended warranty into a new fridge when the time comes to replace it.
4. Do your due diligence on manufacturers/model track records so hopefully you won't buy a lemon (which seems to be harder and harder to discern these days).
Fridge just don't last as long as they use to anymore.
My 7-year-old Samsung had the electronic board replaced. They agreed to cover it.

Does anyone have any real-hand experience with this and is icemaker in this works flawlessly and without the usual clogging as of other bro and sister fridgs?
Then you have the junkyard car the other OP was talking about!
