I'm a 36 year old man and I've watched this series through 3 times and listened to the companion podcast. This is one of the tightest, smartest, funniest and just overall best cartoons I've ever seen. Different entirely but up there with golden age of Simpsons (some golden age writers worked on this). I cannot state enough, if you love cartoons, science fiction and SOLID Weird Al quality-all ages comedy then you need to watch this show. Can't say enough good about it.

Totally worth it even with the shipping costs. This has been out of stock everywhere for a bit and I'm not sure it's coming back in stock. Also I have only seen a price this low (when you include the shipping costs) on the blu ray set ONCE and that has never come back. Hop on this if you don't have this. It's a great show and I watched this when I was a 38-39 year old man and still loved it. I buy physical because lately streaming companies have been knocking off episodes or parts of episodes that are deemed "offensive" for several shows I liked even when things were pretty mild.

Also with the proliferation of streaming channels popping up for every channel or company, companies are clawing back their IP and the body of good shows are getting more fragmented to multiple companies. It's not worth maintaining a streaming app sometimes when my shows are on break for just one older concluded show like this. So I buy it so I can enjoy it for years to come on breaks in my shows when I temporarily unsubscribe.

I absolutely love this show, plenty of adult humor in there, my teenage daughter made me watch it and we have watched all three seasons multiple times

Not trying to compete on age but I watched this in my late 30s when it first came out. I've been trying to get my kids who are now about same age as Mabel and Dipper, but they're not so interested. It's really too bad, cause it's a great show. I was kinda disappointed when it ended. I haven't listen to the podcast so that's something I'll need to do.

Great great series. The creator ended it on his own and it has a wonderful ending. It's like the X-Files meets Twin Peaks. If you don't know if you all like it it's also on Hulu. There are some great books too, my favorite being the graphic novel of 4 'Lost Tales'. Highly recommend that for fans of the show.

It's just the DVD commentary honestly but they released it as a podcast so each ep is 22 mins or so. Very listenable and could watch with show if you wanted. And yeah, no worries on age! Lol. My 13 y/o digs it now but didn't at first.

It's really sort of Rick N Morty-esque, but family friendly. The guest voice talents on top of the regulars are worth getting into the show for alone.
