This is most useful to power modems/routers/Nas devices (for a short time). I use this on my modem and 1 of my routers and a network switch. When I lost power from a hurricane it powered that for about 2.5 hours. I have battery backups all over the place tho. Totally worth it if you live in lightningville

Doubtful. This is a super weak backup. It's a great price for the one this is (normally 60 bucks). I had to get a new backup (1500VA) to plug my gaming PC, now Doubtful an XPS uses as much power as mine does but still. This is super weak. My backup beeped constantly to let me know it was underpowered.
