ExxonMobil recommends a five-year maximum shelf life for engine oils, including synthetic motor oil.

"protects for up to 15 years or 5000 miles" according to Pennzoil's advertising. But the stored product only lasts 5 years. Opposite of most foods 🙂

Until the bottle gets all soft and thin after like 10 years is good. I got some so old the bottle discolored of mobile 1 racing. The good shizzle from the Walmart clearancizzle.

Important certification for Audi is the "VW 502.00" or greater classification in addition to the viscosity (either 5w-40 or 0w-40 will work).

I run the same in my S4, 0w-40 or 5w-50 with the VW502 certification.

There are two options to buy, "One time purchase" and "Subscribe to this item". Did anyone buy with "Subscribe to this item"? How does it work? Is it similar to Amazon S&S?

I noticed on the rebate form's dropdown box, that it now lists www.walmart.com(online [walmart.com(online]) and Walmart(instore) (under retailers). I had trouble with the last rebate, but eventually got it to work. I will definitely be buying in store as the rebate process works better. It doesn't list Amazon as a qualifying store.

Thank you for the find!

Had no problems with getting the rebate. Made a PDF print of the delivery confirmation page, shipping page, and took a picture of the shipping label on the box. I did all 3.

This is regular price. But the rebate makes it a deal. I've done the rebate twice in the past and didn't have problem.
