super ymmv I'm sure, there were just 2 outside home depot in Marlboro NJ. they looked to be in great shape but reviews seem iffy. if I had the need I definitely would've grabbed one.

Hey man thanks! Paid for one and picking up later. However, both are missing keys, batteries, chargers and dead man sensor so need to look into that. Either way thanks! Repped!

Still under warranty, mower won't turn on any more. Took to service center and they said the part is unavailable for at least the next 5-6 months! Cub Cadet said there's nothing they can do to help. I'm all for a good deal, but even $500 for a PAPERWEIGHT is waaay too much.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Or atleast buy it with a CC, that will give you your $$$ back if something goes wrong. (and have a backup plan/lawn service, in case something does).

Yep I'm willing to take the gamble and yea Marlboro. I'm looking into the costs of the replacement parts first though before I pickup. Found another store too that has one, and they said it's a customer return and damaged but they are not sure what's wrong with it. If parts become too much, I'll cancel without pickup up.

However after looking at reviews, may cancel.

I spoke to an independent CC dealer about these just a week ago. Long story short, these are absolute trash. They're extremely unreliable, parts will break, and when they do, you'll have an expensive paperweight because replacement parts are unobtainable. Plus CC is greedy and changed to a proprietary blade design so that they can charge 3-4x the normal price of blades. And theirs are extremely cheaply made with poor metal and just like parts, you can't find them anywhere.

I purchased a gas CC a year ago and wish I hadn't. Don't make my mistake.
