    no time to think. buy now return later. compact is up to 1000ft, xr is up to 1800ft. flir is $190 if buying direct from their website.

    Just off the specs you listed, I'd be inclined towards the tighter FoV. The lower FoV with the same resolution would arguably imply a higher 'sensing density/effective resolution'.

    I think of it like a TV/display. A 32"+ 1080p screen isn't great at displaying detail. But, the same 1080p on something tablet sized, can look great.

    App reviews are terrible. Seems like android version hasn't been updated in 8+ months. Maybe they are discontinuing?

    i got it and downloaded the app. plug and play, no crashing. works quickly no bugs so far. im using a 2022 motorola edge+. Now it seems to be back at $244. bought mainly for diy home improvement use.
