However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.
If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.
For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

Also, anyone know how far in advance one can order it, I see the deal offered, it was not there last week but I am moving in mid July and install date only goes up to July 4

Called first CSR and they couldn't help me. Went ahead and scheduled my service for cancelation in a week.
Was annoyed I'd have to jump through hoops making an account for my son.
Called back and the second CSR just gave me the $25 deal after she confirmed I was canceling my service. I just need to change payment to bank draft as right now it's only $30 with CC autopay.
Thanks

xfinity needs to come out with cell phone plans without their internet plans for these audiences. society cannot afford shelter now and must live in their cars or tents while working unfortunately. to get with the times they will need to offer 4-5g mvno for the big 3.
i see land line telecoms that rely on home internet and services going under in a few years since no one can afford to pay rent or house.
thats probably why internet getting cheaper besides more competition
