However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.
If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.
For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

This plan was rolled out as of November 2016. However, this data plan is currently not applicable to our Northeast markets, including the states of CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, VA, VT, WV, the District of Columbia, and parts of NC and OH.
Is xFi Complete worth it if I never go over data or should I save the 10 bucks a month?

When you search your address on Xfinity it will say there's already service at this address. Click I'm moving here as a new customer.
What if the current one is under contract?
Did you remove it after getting the new xfinity modem?
Anyway, I had to schedule an install, I was able to choose one month out, so my service cant start before the install. I also noticed once I finished submitting my order I was able to change it to more than a month out. So to answer your question if they think you are a new person moving in they may give you a free install and you can push it over a month
I didnt sign up for the xFi Complete promo for $10 extra because I don't think I need it and I tried to get advice in this thread but no one responded that I should take it. I dont think Ill go over 1.2tb ever and not sure how important upload speed is. I guess the only bad thing is I will be stuck with a crappy gateway

You can work out a pretty good deal if you're looking for ~500 Mbps or ~1000 Mbps (effective) Internet and an unlimited mobile line or two. Also the new Samsung trade-in promo isn't too shabby. $1k trade-in value for an iPhone 12 as an example (so S23 Ultra for an iPhone 12 + $200).
YMMV by market but something like $60 for 400x1.2=480 Mbps Internet + 2x unlimited (basic/intro) mobile lines.
According to an email I got, offer ends 6/25 for the free unlimited mobile line.
