No need to create new email. Just cancel the previous subscription and start new subscription and during that process, add the promo code.

Be careful when you go to cancel it will ask if you want to stick around and get 1 extra month free. I did this last time and they still charged me after one month even though from jump it said my next billing date was 2 months away. The customer service lady was swearing up and down there is no way to get 2 months free.

I also got ripped off by this, and wasn't able to talk to customer service to get it fixed. Combined with the 1 time I forgot to cancel, ended up spending $20 for the past year of ad free. Not awful, but a bit of a negative experience. I prefer Peacock with ads for $1/month kind of deal, less hassle.

I got a good laugh watching the trailer on YT. The video was as cringy and woke as you'd expect, but the comments were full of the most obvious astroturing I've ever seen. Hard pass, but thanks for the laugh.

Exactly. Just cancel and let it expire. Although, sometime mid way through the trial you can request to cancel and get an extra month free. Just did it a minute ago.

As the other poster stated, you will still be charged. It's a glitch that they clearly don't care to fix, since it's free money for them.
