For multi-pattern/figure-8, probably the cheapest price point I've seen to get into stereo recording...
Plus, haven't had monoprice steer me wrong with mics or guitars yet. These ribbons are pretty good for micing guitar cabs...wish I could've waited a year for this price, but they were worth what I paid for them...is what I have to keep telling myself whenever Monoprice goes on the real real clearance =X
