Can't vouch for the whole game, but I'm about an hour into it with no issues on the Steam Deck. I mention this only because the listing says it's unsupported.

This is the standalone version of the DLC from Borderlands 2. Do not get this confused with the full game Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

This is shorter than the usual BL game, but it's equally fun. I got it for free on Epic a while ago and enjoyed it a lot.

One of the great qol changes is they reward you with 2 skill points per level. Makes progress less boring. But I still didn't enjoy "endgame" without others to play with.
Story is good if you've played through bl2.

This is standalone - you don't need something else to play it. It's also sold as DLC for Borderlands 2. Originally released as free DLC, it bridges the story to the sequel.

I get what you're saying, the "free is free" philosophy. But I don't want to add garbage to my list of games on Steam and clutter it up (and fill up my SSD) if it's something that bad.
