Yeah, so dead. 3D TV was a fad that lasted maybe 3-4 years before going (mostly) defunct. VR has been constantly growing and going on 10 years with tech that keeps getting better. gtfo.

This. The mod community continues to make campaigns that either continue the storyline or create new standalone game concepts like Gunman Contracts.

If you dont have this yet this is a no brainer! First the base game itself is awesome and well worth it but then there are tons of add on and custom mods that you can play for free. Best value in all of VR in my opinion.

I haven't done anything other than just test out desktop mode with AirLink. How's the latency? Was planning on jumping back into Arizona Sunshine with my friend (haven't played since 2018, when I had Rift).

If latency isn't too bad, I think I might pick up Alyx. Heard too many good things about it. Smilie

Wow, loved HL back in the day. Been out of the gaming computer game for a while, what kind of video card would I need for this game? I'm currently running video graphics of the processor.

I'm a big half life 2 fan and been wanting to play this but felt the cost of vr was too high. I am just now dipping my toe into vr with PS VR2. Hoping I will eventually get to play it on PS5

I think you just connect your PC to the same wireless router as your PC (recommended PC be connected via ethernet).

You'll need to download the Oculus App on PC and login. I merged my Oculus with Meta. Unsure how this works if you haven't done that yet.

On the same Quest2 settings page (right side), you should be able to connect via Quest Link. From there, you gain desktop access to your PC, where you would lauch PC VR games.

That said, depending on how your PC/Network is setup, you might have to toy around with it and there may be a process to link AirLink to PC, but it was fairly straight forward when I did it last
