It was definitely the V11. The original commenter was simply mistaken. Right now New Balance is selling the V11 for $79 on their outlet website, Joe's. The V12 is not yet discounted on Joe's. So that means that it was the V11 that the commenter found for $69 in the physical outlet store. Prices are usually a little less in the physical outlet locations than on Joe's.
I was able to get a pair of 1080V12 for $66.97 (pre-tax) from another, much larger, retailer. The online research I did on this shoe showed that it ticked all the boxes for me. I think this is a great deal for a shoe with an MSRP of $160.
I also managed to find a pair of Saucony Triumph 19 for $59.95 online this week. The MSRP for the Triumph 19 is $150. Other deals I found this month include a pair of Asics Glideride 2 for $55.85 (MSRP $150), HOKA Mach 4 for $72.35 (MSRP $130), and a Saucony Freedom 4 for $42.15 (MSRP $150). If you learn where to shop and do some digging it is still possible to find excellent deals on athletic footwear.
This advice has been stated before from other people. Never pay full retail for shoes.

If you don't mind me asking, can we get the same deal online?

While you were at the outlet what price were they selling the More v3 for? I'm trying to gauge what a reasonable sale price is for that model.
