Got one from deal few weeks ago, having had one before, after ordering i got dissapointed thinking i'm getting new "improved" version with USB cable only and no charger.

To my surprise i got proper plug-in charger version, same as my old one. Happy camper here.

Can't imagine a house without at least 10 of them scattered around.

Oh, I'm just inferring from the description on bb of this particular one where it says it has no travel case, while the one from prev deal says it does have travel case (again, description from bb).

I do have higher end model of sonicare that I purchased it from costco. I am looking to buy this one for travel purposes. Is it a good choice? Or will I be disappointed. I have no idea so please share your experiences.

For occasional travel purpose it's fine. I do the same, have a $200 sonicare for daily use at home, and a $30 one for travel use in hotels.

Thanks for the reply. Placed the order. Can I use the Sonicare brushes that costco sells with this unit ?

How long do the Brushheads last compared to regular toothbrushes? How much do they generally cost? I've noticed costco carries their brushhead packs, I Think, unsure if its year round.

I've been genuinely interested in these.

I've head many recc the phillips over oral B's electric brush, but now that Phillips is going out of buisness, I wonder if its such a good idea to get something utterly discontinued in perpetuity.
