Please show which of the flavors have canola oil. I checked half of them, and none have canola oil listed anywhere in the list of ingredients.

EDIT: If you carefully read the article you linked, there are as many cited benefits from canola oils as risks. I'm not advocating either way, but you're posting a warning while seemingly cherry-picking facts, and it's not entirely clear that any of this dog food contains canola oil.

Had an additional 25% off coupon for me, so I got the 4-lb Turkey bag for only ~$2.50!! Thanks so much for sharing this one, decent dog food is criminally overpriced.

Be aware that many of these flavors (and other dog food brands) contain CANOLA oil as a main ingredient. It's best to avoid any food (human or dog) w/Canola Oil.

"Plus, the canola oil diet significantly decreased lifespan and led to sizable increases in blood pressure. Animal studies also indicate that canola oil may negatively impact memory.
A study in mice found that chronic exposure to a canola-rich diet resulted in significant harm to memory and substantial increases in body weight."

Yeah, but what if your dog is a Stroke-Prone Spontaneously Hypertensive Rat and you fed it a diet of 10% canola oil for 30 days straight?

Problem with these studies is that they make it into articles aimed at laypeople and then laypeople try to interpret data which isn't always as clear-cut as they think if is.

This one has Canola Oil:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...X0DER&th=1

I did "carefully read the article" I linked. I clearly lists a bunch of studies in animals showing concerns including studies showing "decreased life span." How did I "cherry pick" when as you say the article I linked also shows some positives? It was a balanced article that lists the pros and cons, not a scare-mongering/only-negative article.

It cannot be denied that Canola oil is plant based, GMO, full of Omega 6 (bad) and it's "Refined, Bleached and Deodorized (RBD)." If you want to feed that to yourself or your dog(s), go ahead. It is not found in a dog's or human's natural diet so probably better to avoid in my opinion. Make your own decision.

Healthier, cheaper, and easier to make your own dog food folks.

Seriously, get a big pot, dump all the ingredients and cook it once a week.

I'm in shock how much dog food is AND just ridiculous humans are buying the crap.

There are TONS of recipes, all easy, and all using stuff you'd buy for yourself. Unless you never cook yourself, I don't get dog food. Biggest farce of the century (and last century too!)
