These are second hand codes, so there's always a risk. I bought a couple in the past but this spooked me after hearing horror stories.

Update: my account was locked from making in-app purchases today when I tried to complete a transaction. I had to contact support and thankfully they were able to restore ability to make purchases. I have no clue whether this had to do with the gift cards but it seems too coincidental for my comfort. Probably will avoid from now on as well

Yep. Why doesn't SlickDeals staff list this disclaimer in the original post?

It seems like Regent Games is aware of this issue because they have lowered their pricing as of late. Not worth the risk IMO.

Update: Eneba customer service reached out to the seller of the gift cards, and said a replacement couldn't be given to me. Instead, Eneba is issuing a refund for the 1 gift card that was duplicated. So i got 9 gift cards and 1 refunded back. Good customer service, pretty prompt reply.
