gift card came immediately and was able to redeem. 3rd time buying from RegentGames through Eneba. never had an issue. just make sure you use a cc that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee.
In my colleague's case, he bought many Apple GCs from Eneba last year and never had any issue until he tried to buy a laptop earlier this month. His entire $1K+ balance was locked. Apple said some cards he redeemed was charged back after redemption.
Apple asked for the receipts, bank statements, and a copy of the physical cards, but he only received digital redemption codes. I think not having the original physical cards is why Apple still hasn't unlocked his balance.
While scammers use gray markets to sell gift cards from their victims, not all gift cards from gray markets are supplied by scammers. There are legitimate second hand gift cards, too. Ultimately, it's just a risk factor. For some people, the discount is not worth the potential risks.
