Yes, this one is "stackable". Although there is a maximum of like 3 years out I believe

If you do it right, you can often get ultimate for the same price as just Gold. And you get like a 10% discount on first party games as part of that too, so it may be worth it just for that for you, forgetting all the other benefits.

It's absolutely worth the price of less than 2 games/year. I think I paid ~$150 for 3 years, but those deals are becoming harder to come by. This is a great way of keeping your sub topped off at 36 months.

No it's not. It was ~$6/month yesterday on eneba. That's decent, but $8 is nothing special.

Even now it's still a better deal (at $10.89 for 50 days, after conversion, or roughly the equivalent of $6.53 for 30 days):

No, the 3 years Gold to Ultimate conversion is roughly ~$165 ($50 per year of Gold and $15 for first month conversion) while this would be about $251 for a full three years.

That said, who knows how long that Gold to Ultimate conversation will still last, so this is a good alternative for people wanting to max out their prepaid time without having to wait until their prepaid time runs out to do the conversion again.

Sorry, could you explain what you mean when you say having to wait until their prepaid time runs out to do the conversion again? I'm a new Xbox owner and I was able to add time to my game pass ultimate subscription using multiple purchases from yesterday's Eneba Game Pass Gold deal. I thought I could just top it off that way until I maxed out at three years. Is that not possible for some reason?

I can concur that the $10.89 for 50 days deal is still cheaper after buying 4 of those and extending my Game Pass Ultimate accordingly. Not as convenient, but if you can't wait for some other sweeter deal in the future or don't want to let your subscription expire, that seems the best choice today.

There's plenty of posts about it, but basically if you don't have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can convert Xbox Live Gold subscription into GPU at a 1:1 ratio. But since you already maxed our your GPU sub instead of letting it expire, you'll have to wait 3 years to do the 1:1 conversion (assuming Microsoft still allows it at that time).

So you could have saved some money, but $10 for 50 days of GPU isn't bad either. Just enjoy your new Xbox and welcome to Game Pass!

Thank you! I appreciate the explanation! I bought a year, so fingers crossed the offer still works when my time expires!

I haven't been using my gamepass ultimate subscription lately. Anyone know if Microsoft will let me put my gpu account on hold?

I can't remember, was this cheaper than the recent deal with converting the 3 months of gold to ultimate?
I paid like $10.21 for 50 days of gamepads from the other deal.

Price is $9.89 for me. Am I missing some discount or has this deal passed?
