Good deal. Be careful, though, if you have a dog, as xylitol is deadly to them.
"Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs. Even small amounts of xylitol can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), seizures, liver failure, or even death in dogs."

Any xylitol free brands of gum you can recommend for my dog?

I'd rather chew on bark than ever eat this brand of gum again.

And even if they appear fine and get emergency intervention, they can die a few days later. Worse chemical, I don't let it in my house. Never let your dog eat crap off the sidewalk too. It's everywhere.

Absolutely deadly to dogs. My niece had a beautiful Shiba Inu that got into a pack of gum in her car while she was getting gas. The dog died a violent and bloody ( out of both ends while seizing ) death 12 hours later despite a visit to the vet. There is no cure.

Thank you for that heads up! I had no clue!! My kids love this gum - but it seems too risky!! My puppy is a giant Shepard Mastiff mix, but he's still our puppy - he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.

I'm allergic to aspertame and this is one of the few brands without it. I like the chocolate though Smilie

If the flavor lasts as long as Pur gum then it wouldnt be that bad. Big Grin

But on the other hand, I actually started xylitol gum because apparently it helps fight cavities and has been "proven" to do so.

Xylitol has been proven to help your teeth. Has an antibacterial effect.

Are you implying that the flavor doesn't last?

Same! Since every brand on shelves is usually sugar free, this is one of the few 'sugar' options with flavor and last more than a few seconds.
