I have the queen version of this, and really regret cheaping out. Our last mattress was a pillow top serta purchased almost 20 years ago, and is still such a better mattress/night sleep.

This thing is hard, and not in a good firm way, just hard and uncomfortable and the pillow top makes little to no difference.

We ended up adding a thick gel topper and another pillow topper on top of the existing pillow topper and it's almost worth sleeping on every night. But I'll never purchase another one of these.

Also, I weigh about 210 and my wife 150. We're not morbidly obese, but my side of the bed looks noticably different after two years now, like I weigh 400 lbs. It's like sunken in or something.

Do yourself a favor and pass.

Since 2014, I have consistently used the Zinus mattress in my college dorm, apartment, and home. Over the years, I have owned about 4-6 of them and have been thoroughly satisfied with their quality and affordability. And yes, I recommend to anyone that do not have $500-$1000+!

Just got first ever zinus for a day bed and thoroughly impressed. All prior mattresses in my life and currently have been "luxury" 2k+. NEVER again!

So, chuck the mattress after a year and a half? Seems like Zinus to me. Checks out.

Going thru 4-6 of them in less than 10yrs isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.

For a long time, multiple reports of fiberglass issue. Think it's used as fire retardant.

Don't slash your mattress apart and you'll be fine lol.

I never opened or slashed mine, and it started leaking? Fiberglass. Did last 4 years, but still regret the purchase because cleaning fiberglass is a nightmare, and the rashes were not worth it.
