I believe I got a similar one with low profile 3-4 years ago with the similar price. It seems the price finally goes down after pandemic

I have this one, I have used it to put and take out several engines, and maintenance for the past couple of years. I bought it for 130$ and it's worth every penny, it's held up great and highly recommend it

Any recs on decent aluminum floor jacks that weigh no more than 40lbs and can go as high as 16-18" for around $100 or maybe a bit more? I'm tired of having to refill my so-so non-serviceable $40 Craftsman jack because it leaks. I'll going to try to put some stop leak oil in it but that'll probably just buy me a bit more time between refills.

I need a lighter one because I don't have a garage so lugging it around will be an issue if it's too heavy. I'm not exactly Mr. Universe.

The ones that go high enough are out of my price range. As it is 16" is just barely high enough to lift my car due to its underbody design, and I like to get it up as high as my jack stands can safely support it for good clearance when working under it. I'm going to first try to fix my current cheapo jack.

Waiting for the 3-Ton Long-Reach Low-Profile to go on sale <$200.
Impressive lift height of 3-1/3 in. to 24-1/4" handles roadsters to trucks.
Add the Daytona Steel Floor Jack Cross Beam (when it's on sale) and I'm rotating tires on all my vehicles in minutes. Applause

Pretty sure that thing is more than 40lbs. Probably closer to 60lbs

You're correct, thanks for pointing that out

The PF one lifts about 1½ higher and is 2in lower profile which may be critical for some.

..although it is 8 lbs heavier than the OP one..

Other than those characteristics,. I'd say they probably perform about the same as far as safety and lifting ability.

This could also be used to remove a tree stump or fence post.
