This game is fantastic. Well, actually I can only speak to the older 3DS version, but I was addicted to that game for a long time. Great music, very fun. I had been waiting for a sale to buy the switch version so I'm in for 1!

This game is super addictive. Thank you for posting this. I've been waiting for any discount at all to grab it for PlayStation. I will gladly do this price. It's one of those somewhat obscure games that could very well not drop any lower than this for a long time. Especially considering it's Square Enix and it took them months to drop the new Crisis Core $10.

I can't recommend this game enough for anyone who has enjoyed the music of FF (and the broader Square-Enix catalog considering the DLC) over the past 3 decades. I picked up the deluxe version with the DLC included at launch. It's easily one of my most enjoyed releases this year.

I've been on the fence about this one - on one hand, the 3DS games are among my favorites. But on the other hand, the controls are different (I actually miss the stylus) so I don't know how long it would take me to really get used to the new method. I tried the demo and it's harder with just the controller

Loved the 3DS version. Still play it every now and then. Probably won't pick up this version despite it having more songs, just cause I like how the game worked with the 3DS stylus. Plus, there are a couple Nier and Chrono Trigger DLC songs I bought on 3DS that didn't make it to Final Bar Line yet.

Yeah, I put a lot of hours into the 3DS ones, and was worried about the control switch. Using a controller does take some getting used to, but they managed the control scheme change pretty well (what I eventually found worked well was using the shoulder buttons a lot more than I normally do instead of trying to mash multiple face buttons simultaneously). As a lefty, there are pretty clear benefits to using a controller -- my hand isn't covering up the incoming notes.

Anyhow, the game remains very fun, and the music selection is insanely extensive, and is being expanded to more Squenix properties. If you like rhythm games and/or FF music, this is a fantastic buy.

I really loved the game on the 3DS and the price is good for a recent release. However I am holding out for a more complete version like the second iteration that came out on 3DS.
