LG's response to a question about whether this is "Garage Ready":

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 20 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model # LTCS20020W is not a 'garage ready' refrigerator. It must be installed in an area where the temperature is between 55.4°F (13°C) and 110°F (43°C). Most manufacturers do not recommend placing a refrigerator in temperatures below 50°F (10°C). Doing so could cause the freezer portion to thaw frozen food, the refrigerator portion to freeze food or both. Very cold temperatures can interfere with the fridge's thermostat. If the temperature in your garage dips below a certain level, the thermostat senses the drop in temperature and may register that the fridge is already cold enough, even if it isn't. When this happens, your fridge may shut off, allowing the food inside to defrost or get too warm. If the temperature gets below freezing, the food inside the fridge could freeze..."Ivan

That said, still seems like a really good deal on this clearanced fridge (Sam's price ending in ".81").

I sell appliances. This fridge is huge physically even with doors removed. Obviously depends on where u live but here in urban nj it's a tough fit in many homes and forget about second floors/basements.

It is an amazing deal tho. Easily half off what they sell for on sale at a regular place.

I wouldn't consider 33 3/8" x 29 3/4" x 66 1/8" huge but maybe that's just me?

Won't fit though my 1953 house to make it into kitchen. Need 1 dimension 27-28"
Also kitchen entrance is arched and offset from hallway.

current fridge was 27 with the doors off and I still had to touch up paint.

Is that because it's better insulated and more efficient?

Does / can Sam's club deliver?

Finally, since you're in NJ, doesn't PSE&G have some sort of rebate program on at the moment for new fridges? Maybe with that this is a do?

So can't be placed in garage as a second refrigerator in New England weather? Anyone used it in garage in New England region?

We had this fridge for years in our last house. I really liked it! Decent quality and if the door is left open it sounds an alarm. I will say that the magnets in doors could be stronger, it seemed like ours was always popping open and if it was shut too hard it would pop open. But still much better than the cheap models of other brands. (Had one of them in another house) In for 1 for the game room! Summers coming need a place for the kids popsicles and drinks! Thanks OP!
