Thanks for posting this good deal. It is even cheaper in the local Costco warehouse than their online price.

It was $279 at my local club. Your mileage may vary.

If you couple these printers with aftermarket bulk ink from Aliexpress/Amazon/eBay you have a wonderful situation. Ink is ink.

I bought the EcoTank ET-3760 Special Edition from Costco when it was on sale almost two years ago. I still haven't needed to add more ink. Black is still 1/3 full, with the colors each at about 1/2 full. We've printed over 4,000 pages, 3,000 of which were color.

With our previous Epson WorkForce cartridge printer we would have spent well over $500 for new ink cartridges by now.

My only criticism of this printer is that it has less features than the cartridge based WorkForce printer. That printer had a touch screen, which I greatly prefer over having to use the navigation buttons, and it also had two paper trays, which came in handy when trying to print labels.

I believe that the EcoTank 4000 series printers do have a touch screen, if this is something important to you.

Do any of these ecotank printers support larger paper sizes than 8.5 wide?

You might be thinking of a different printer. There is one that is $279 and one on sale for $299.

I was going to purchase it until I read reviews. They are not good...in fact none of the EcoTank printers have good reviews.

I was going to say, the one that was 278 was ET-2850 so I got the ET-3850. Most of the reviews I saw was positive in Amazon.

I've had an ET-3710 for three years, and it's been wonderful (no printing, WiFi, or other issues). Still haven't replaced the initial ink that came with it.

Still in stock today. Deal expires 5/14/23. Called some Warehouses to confirm: The $279 price is for the ET-2850 model. The ET-3850 model is $299, the same price whether at the Warehouse or online.

The printer itself is pretty nice. Reddit has some discussions about it and the general consensus is that it's the best choice for color, while Brother is the best for B&W laser.

I can't ever post a review on Costco. I don't know why (yes, I disabled my ad blocker). It just says to try again later. But it never eventually works.

So, here's my review:

Flimsy, works okay, lots of black ink, no 5GHz

I just bought and set this up. It has a very cheap, flimsy feel to it. I got it mainly for printing photos. There's no manual feed tray. And there's no rear ejection slot. But I printed a #10 envelope and it came out okay, even if the left margin was reduced to almost zero (on other printers there would be a 3/4" margin before the return address, on this there's about .2"). It comes with three bottles of black ink, and one of each of the three colors. The setup process uses about 10-15% of what the tanks hold.

The paper tray is minimalist and quite flimsy feeling. But, all things considered, it was worth the sale price (with $80 off). Should be great for printing photos, based on prior Epson experience. (I have a huge other brand MFC that prints nice photos, but does it very slowly. That one is good for documents)

I can reveal here that our beast of a machine is a Brother. And I have since scanned a page using the ADF on the Epson. WOW- it's Slllooooowwww. [www.] I don't expect to ever need it.

I don't recommend this printer, the print quality isn't great. You can pick out the individual dots it's printing on the page. I've also had to clean the heads way to frequently. For how expensive this is it prints worse than the throw away $30 printers. It's also buggy and will say it printed a page but didn't, shows printing on the the printer but nothing happened. Restarting it will fix it. Overall I think this is just a very poor printer that I wouldn't even pay $30 for.
