To me, this is right up there with having to pay to monitor your credit. What a scam. Every time UPS jacks up one of my shipments they offer this.

Mine expired last year and I never found another deal....not worth the hassle to sign up for just 2 months.

This was really useful when I moved homes and had to change shipment addresses for deliveries I forgot to update the shipping info on after they were in transit. Worth it if you're moving while you figure your stuff out imo.

Does UPS no longer sign you up for auto-renew? Don't want to be surprised by a $20 charge in two months but having trouble finding the option to opt out.

Not sure why the previous thread on this was marked expired if it's the same promo code?

Anyways, here are my instructions for turning off auto-renew that I posted in that thread:

Just purchased it and tried the Change Delivery Address option. Wanted to opt for "Pick it at a UPS location". It gave me only one location option 11 miles away, but didnt even let me to submit the request stating "this location is not available". What a joke. And I'm in big large city and major hub.

It also doesnt let you add specific instructions only samle options as "leave at front door or porch".

Absolutely useless. Just wasted time. How can I get a refund?

I was able to apply the promo code one time on an expired membership and then a second a time as a renewal, so I got 4 months for $4 total.

These guys are about as sattelite radio once they get your CC. Probably gonna get a strike for this but I'd use a virtual CC and a different name so you don't get sent to a collection agency.

I have never had any issues with overcharges on this service by UPS and have been using it, on and off, for the past 4-5 years.

Help. Just signed up, hoping it will help with an issue I just encountered today with a wrongly delivered item.

The item was delivered to an old access point(store) that I used. I now live 30 miles away.
