I totally agree with you. And part of the reason for their high prices is that they assume a lot of people will have a 20% discount with gift cards, some they sell that way at Costco all the time. It's similar to bed bath beyond where things we ok with the 20% off. It's a great strategy that makes anyone who is no savvy overpay.

Ikr.. It's still a good deal but I'm in the fence about the digital version. I suppose it'll be harder to lose an email vs physical cards. Do you have to print it out and look all tacky pulling it out and unfolding it? 🤔 Or… do I have to awkwardly hand over my phone over to the server? They should really find a way to preload these to your Landry's account. 🙄
It's quite simple to use at the restaurant as I recently used it at Bubba's. They can write the number down and have it applied that way.
You can also add it to Samsung wallet, for example, though there isn't a bar code, but at least you can safeguard your gift card.
