Does anyone know if this is a reputed merchant. I'm not particularly interested in this B&M model but there's another one I liked. Does this AD have a legit presence in United States and do they allow in person visit prior to purchase? ….I'm sure someone knows.

I mean I think there are other brands I'd go to for better value even in Luxury Watches. Fwiw at half the price point id go with a Grand Seiko Spring Drive. However it's still a decent deal. I think this is a typical grey market merchant

Special or not special, when you are spending this much, market value is important. If you are lucky enough to buy any Rolex at msrp today, it will instantly go up in value once you have bought it. For this watch, however good you think the value is, once you buy it, the value goes down. Even if i am wrong and it doesn't go down, it will never appreciate like a Rolex would.

yes but rolex are an investment! i never wear my original rolex hulk and just have the 1:1 rep on for daily use. To date nobody can tell it's not the same as the original that's in my safe!

Yes a Rolex will increase in value, but that is not the only watch that will increase in value. This watch will also increase in value(most likely). Just look at the simple SKX-007 from 3 years ago vs today. All quality watches increase in value as. There is a whole category of investment watches and surprise it's not just Rolex. Surprisingly some very affordable watches will also increase in value.
