I do recommend cancelling the auto-renewal right away. This is about the price at which I grab these on top of my child's existing National Geographic Kids subscription.

Did this deal before for my daughter. I'm really disappointed in the quality of these "magazines". They're probably worth the price, but lower your expectations.

My grandparents paid for a subscription for my sibling and me when I was a child and my father bought a subscription for my children. Unfortunately, it is not the same magazine it used to be. About four years ago they made an editorial decision to insert a clear political agenda into their content. There were several news stories about it at the time. I would rather avoid that for my children so we ended up cancelling the subscription. It's a shame.

be careful when you buy from them. I used paypal and didn't open any account or didn't subscribe for each month delivery. I was surprised to see an email and my cc account had been charged next month. I called them ask for refund and they refunded me. I never saw anyone does charge my paypal without my consent. I will avoid this company

1. Set your expectations to get a dollar store type booklet and be happy it is shipped free every month. Then you won't be disappointed.

2. Cancel auto renew immediately after signing up. They're sneaky.

3. Which brings me to - use virtual one time credit card.

I got the July issue yesterday (subbed to Hello), which means that I didnt get the June issue. CS insisted that the July issue was the June issue, despite the envelope and google showing otherwise.

They are mailing a replacement June issue. Just a heads up; everyone check your address label and make sure that the expiration date lines up with your term.
