We went in to our local Rural King the other day for some free popcorn and window shopping and were pleasantly surprised to find the Camp Chef XT 24 on clearance for $299. I was already thinking about this grill at $449.99 because it goes on the Camp Chef website and Amazon for $100 more and it's a great little pellet grill to get started with according to many online reviews. Despite the pics on the website, the one they had in the store for sale has the bronze lids and gen2 PID controller.
This deal is going to be fairly YMMV since these stores are only in the Midwest US and only certain stores still have stock. They also had zero other Camp Chef products or accessories so if you want the fold-down shelf or official cover you'll be getting it somewhere else.
