So look. I'm an old dude. Almost 50. I dont play video games like that. My kids do. Few years ago I got them Don't Starve. They didn't play it really cuz it's hard. You die quickly when you're starting off, and lose ALL your progress. Well for whatever reason I got hooked. My mission was to freaking survive that first winter and it took me FOREVER. I'm at my factory job writing down crock pot recipes like a dork. But man I loved that game. It started taking up too much time so I had to force myself to take it easy. If there were other dudes in the factory who played games, Don't Starve Together would be FUN AS HELL to play with your buds. I cant recommend this game enough. And check out Salendrek YouTube channel for really good tips. Just search his name with don't starve. He's the king of dst content. And don't get discouraged when you freeze to death your first couple nights, or die from the creatures of the dark. Everyone has a tough go of it. Buy this game.
It goes into your steam inventory as a sendable gift

Have 200+ hours in DST, great game especially with friend(s). Can be pretty challenging for new players as there is a lot to take in (overall concepts are dead simple but knowing what items/foods to craft to survive is a learning curve). But there's also easier modes and you can customize pretty much every aspect of a world before you create it so you can easily tweak it to your liking.

Reviews are great for this game, but I didn't understand it. The wife and I just walked around having no idea what to do 🤷

Would you recommend this on Switch or PC? With Switch I could do local co-op but my spouse isn't that into video games. With PC I've heard there are mods for the game.
