Fwiw I got this set on a previous deal. I am a complete and total beginner so I can't compare to quality of others, but I have found both parts very useful and helpful in my attempt to be crafty.

it's a 90 degree angle and a 45 degree angle.. There's not much quality to review.

You'd be surprised.

The legibility and accuracy of the markings (especially on the plastic rafter square.) The smoothness and tightness of the adjustment screw. Does it hold firm? After adjusting is it still perfectly 90°? Stuff like that.

Fortunately I've found that my few Empire products were made well, as the reviews pretty much show.

This one is nine dollars while others sell for $30 so I assume there are some differences, but I have found this one very nice
