9 out of 10 inmates agree, this is their favorite gardening tool. The other one got what he deserved.
The one thumb down you got was the guy who got what he deserved.
This knife must have its own good use. But, for weeding, check on homis on Amazon. Homi is the best tool to remove weeds with roots.

Recently I have been pulling weeds in my yard and I take a hammer and just hit the ground with the sharp end. This gets most of the weed loose enough to pull out with the root.

I've thought about getting a specific weeding tool like this but so far have good results with the hammer method.

Do you primarily use this for weeds? Or have people found other uses?

I got this for my retired mom last time it was up for $14. She loves the thing and says her garden club gave it rave reviews. The handle is oddly squared and unwieldy for her small hands, but last she mentioned it she said she was getting used to it.

I tried it out and it certainly makes for easy moving of small herbs or weeding, though if you're like her and already have several hand spades and diggers, it may be unnecessary.

I have one of these and really like it, but the claimed normal price here is pretty inflated. You can usually get two for about $25 or one for $15-20.

the first question in the "Customer questions & answer" section on the Amazon page has the same question. Here is what it says:

Question: What is the difference between this one and the "older model", NJP650?
Answer: The premium NJP651 has a leather sheath and a red wrist strap. The original NJP650 has a pleather sheath. The knife itself is identical.

But what's the difference between the NJP6501 (this model) and the NJP650 & NJP651 (mentioned in the Q&A)?
