More like generally yes. There are a few entry gen4s that might as well be gen3 drives. As far as we know most games seem to run okay if the drive is at or just below the recommended specs.

It'll work with all ssds that is gen4, no matter how shitty the speeds are.

You mean no matter how shitty the ps5 is that there is zero difference in load times between 4000mb/s drives and 8000mb/s drives.

No not if you see automatic Gen 4. Some gen 3 drives are upgraded to Gen 4 but are really Gen 3. More like, Do your due diligence first.
