If you cancel at the end of the 3mo @3.33/mo, the retention offer is another 3mo at $3.33/mo. So, essentially, $10/3mo x 4mo = $40. $40 < $99. Better deal unless you need the free delivery. But when is free delivery really free? You always have to tip the driver.
You haven't done this recently then. I was given the option for only 1 month at $7.99 when I cancelled Friday. I think they are catching on. I don't get the $3.33 one every time. I sometimes got $4.99 for 3 months, which is what I just cancelled.

The retention offer is not always another 3 mo @$3.33/m. I got $7.99 for one month.

Was a sip club member for a little over 2 years and frequently many locations with similar results. Coffee quality has fallen dramatically since the introduction of the program. They don't turn the hot coffees frequently enough, and the iced coffees sit long enough to melt the ice so you just have this lukewarm, diluted mess. The LaCroix of coffee is the best way I can describe the state of Panera's current coffee.
The charged lemonades are good but have a crazy amount of caffeine and sugar to the point where it's probably healthier to just chug a Monster. Lemonades are teas are similar in sweetness.

They gave a ton of 50% YP2 and other food deals but I was just in it for the drinks. Still doesn't seem worth it regardless with how overpriced all their food is. Complained numerous times to management and Panera corporate about the drop in quality to no avail, as they continued spamming me with re-subscription notices and deals. Sip Club is worth it during the free initial promos and the 2 or so times they'll allow you to extend for $3/mo, but after that I can't recommend this service in its current form.

Figure I'll add the drink area is almost always a mess from other patrons spilling things and just leaving it. Also really weird ordering system that lets you just walk in an grab a cup. Surprised they don't have problems with people walking in without a subscription pretending to play with the order tablets to just walk out with a drink. None of the workers would bat an eye.

Their coffee blows and "tea" based drinks are too sweet.
Are you talking about the Lemonades? The Iced Tea is unsweetened and they have hot tea packets so all sweeteners are done by the customer.
